Hang tight while we look up scheduled events...

Tenebrae : A good friday service

Our Good Friday service is called "Tenebrae," which is Latin for darkness, or the darkening. We commemorate the sufferings of Jesus and remember how darkness tried and failed to destroy the light of the world. With special performances of worship, Bible reading, monologues, and more, we take time to meditate on the amazing work that Jesus did for us on that cross.

Childcare is provided for ages 0-5. All others are encouraged to join and experience Tenebrae!

Egg hunt party

Join us for our annual Easter egg hunt party! We will start in the backyard and field of the church then move inside the gym for fun, games, crafts, and prizes after the egg hunts. Even the parents and older kids will have opportunities to have fun and get prizes! Raffles will take place at the end of the event, at 1pm.

We will have different egg hunts for each age group to ensure that every child has a fun experience and gets plenty of candy and eggs! Have more than one child? We will space the egg hunts out by about 10 minutes so that you can watch or help each child at a different time. Egg hunts will start promptly at 11am so make sure to get there at about 10:45 to get your child to the right location before their hunt starts!

All children welcome to participate in a hunt, 0-18! (We have a special twist for our older, youth aged students.)

Bring your own Easter basket, or there will be extras for you available if you don't have one!

Easter bites

Join us for some light bites in between services. This is an opportunity for fellowship between the whole church body, regardless of which service you choose to come to! Breakfast will take place in the Fireside Room. This is also a great time for a photo op with our backdrop in the foyer. There will be a photographer there to take your family pictures for you!

Easter sunday

Celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ with us.

Two services, in person and online, at 9am and 11am.

Childcare provided for both services. New to WNLA? Here is an intro to our children's programs:

Nursery-age children are welcome to be dropped off by a parent at the start of service. The nursery is located in the room directly off the foyer near the check-in and welcome spaces. Please make sure to check in your child with our self-check stations in the foyer or in the Seedlings hallway! All parents are required to show their matching sticker to pick up their child. This space is also available for nursing mothers to come in and have a more private area if desired.
