How long is a service at WNLA?
In total, a Whatcom New Life service is about 70 minutes in length.
Services begin with the WNLA worship team leading the church in music -
song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or
engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music
portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to
share a message of God's good news.
What's the culture like at WNLA... Do I have to wear a tie?
Sunday's at Whatcom New Life Assembly are exciting, casual, and relaxed.
You are free do dress as fancy or as casual as you’d like, we want you to feel welcomed as our guest.
There is plenty of seating, and made accessible
to everyone, so if you have any special needs - don't worry! We have you
What COVID precautions are you taking?
We limit the seating in our sanctuary to 75 or fewer people. We have also spaced out our seating to allow families to be 6 ft. apart.
We ask that everyone wear a mask during our services and we have disposable masks available in the foyer.
We sanitize surfaces and chairs between all services and we have sanitizer stations at entrances and various points throughout the building.
What about my kids?
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week -
and at Whatcom New Life, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a
priority is your children’s safety. Because of that,
we have a check-in process for our New Life Kid's program that will take a few extra minutes the
first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra five
minutes to get signed in for the New Life Kids experience. Kids
ministry is currently offered during our 2nd service - Kindergarten through Grade 5.
While we are unable to staff our nursery and preschool class during COVID-19, we have opened the nursery room with a live stream of the service for parents to be with their children.
